Matt and Steve formed the Matt Boggs Band in 2004. They began playing acoustic shows at small restaurants and private parties in the Dallas area. Soon after, James and Cole joined the band, their talents led to more performances and bigger venues. The band has developed a strong college-age fan base and they enjoy performing regularly at several area universities. The Matt Boggs Band has a following throughout Texas and Oklahoma. They have played shows in Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL, and are currently working on extended casino tour in Las Vegas, NV. In March of 2009, Matt tried out with 8,000 other hopefuls for CMT’s #1 rated show “Can You Duet”. He became a finalist on the show, which aired in June and can still be seen at www.canyouduet.com.
